ABOUT ME

Welcome to my PLN (personal learning network), I am a pre-service primary school teacher from NSW Australia. This PLN has been created as part of an interesting unit I am participating in at univeristy- EFD459.

As a future teacher my specific interests include making learning interactive, interesting, contemporary, fun and enlightening for students. I have specific interests in Physical Education, Mathematics and Music. I am passionate about creating inclusive classrooms for all students; no student should feel excluded or feel alone a classroom. It is important to create an environment that welcomes, educates and includes everyone within it. This often means catering specifically for special needs which while I find it challenging I also find that it also pushes me to become a better teacher for all my students.Where I tend to struggle is in English education which is a major part of education in all schools.

I hope that through this PLN my skills, and the skills of others looking at this PLN can be built upon and that we can hopefully learn from each other. I wish to create an environment where everyone can comment, communicate and be interactive with each other. So feel free to comment on my blog posts.
